Why a local moving service? Why not DIY?
Oftentimes, people making a local move on Hawaii think, “It’s only a few miles: no reason I can’t do it myself.” And it’s true: if you have the time, the trucks, and a crew of friends or family willing to donate a weekend, there’s something to be said for doing it yourself.
However, in most cases, you’ll need to rent a moving truck, buy the packing equipment, pick up any additional costs incurred along the way, and by the time you’re done, your DIY move cost more than if you hired the experts. (Not to mention how much it may cost you and your friends in sweat equity!)
And if you have lived in Hawaii for even a short time, you know that the weather can turn on a dime: What was simply hard work when being done in the shining sun quickly becomes a nightmare with the rain and winds.
